Cranbrook Tennis Classic Returns July 19-26
The Cranbrook Tennis Classic, an ATP Challenger 125 tournament, runs July 19–26 at Cranbrook Schools in Bloomfield Hills. Named 2025 ATP Challenger Tournament of the Year, it's drawing top international players including recent Wimbledon competitors Michael Zheng, Mackenzie McDonald, and Thanasi Kokkinakis, plus local favorites Reilly Opelka (St. Joseph native, once ranked #17) and Michigan State/University of Michigan alumni. Defending champion Mark Lajal of Estonia returns to defend his title.
Tickets start at $22 for single days and $155.25 for a week pass. High school tennis players get free admission on Wednesday, July 22 when wearing their school tennis jersey. All proceeds benefit the Palmer Park Tennis Academy in Detroit. The tournament will air on the Tennis Channel.
