Detroit Evening Report: Alcohol, cannabis ads may soon be banned from being near religious buildings

The Michigan Science Center is hosting After Dark: Summer Games on Friday, July 24, from 6 to 10 p.m., an adults-only evening combining science exploration with sports and games. The event features a planetarium show on "Olympians of the Night Sky," appearances by Detroit City FC and former Piston Durand Walker, food from National Coney Island, cocktails from Byrdie Bar, and interactive games including a 50-foot inflatable obstacle course. Tickets run $35 for members, $45 for non-members, and $30 for designated drivers.
