Science Center After Dark: an adults only night of summer games

DETROIT. The Michigan Science Center goes 21 and over Friday, July 24, from 6 to 10 p.m., for After Dark: Summer Games. The planetarium runs a show called "Olympians of the Night Sky," and the floor fills with a 50-foot inflatable obstacle course plus games like Warrior Rock 'Em Sock 'Em and Hippo Chow Down.
Detroit City FC will be there for photos, and Durand "Speedy" Walker, a former Piston who now runs the Motor City Cruise, is set to appear. National Coney Island handles the coneys, Byrdie Bar handles the cocktails, and tickets run $35 for members, $45 for everyone else, and $30 for a designated driver.
