Detroit City Distillery: the Eastern Market brand opens in Lexington

LEXINGTON. Detroit City Distillery, the Eastern Market spirits maker founded in 2014, has opened its first location outside Detroit inside Foley's Market at 7252 Huron Ave, on Lake Huron. The new outpost launched in time for the Fourth of July rush and keeps hours from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
The project is a partnership with Roxbury Group, the Detroit development firm behind the David Whitney Hotel and the Metropolitan Building. Co-founder J.P. Jerome called the new spot a comfortable, year-round gathering place for locals and visitors alike.
