Jack Campbell: cracks the NFL's top 10 linebackers

DETROIT. Lions linebacker Jack Campbell made the NFL's top 10 at his position for the first time, ranking fifth in a survey of league executives and coaches. Last season he made All-Pro with 176 tackles, 5 sacks, and 9 tackles for loss, and posted a 90.2 PFF grade, second-best among linebackers. The Lions signed him to a four-year, $81 million extension.

Campbell trails Fred Warner, Roquan Smith, Carson Schwesinger, and Zack Baun on the list, though at least one evaluator called him the best linebacker in the league. He takes over as the Lions' defensive anchor this season after Alex Anzalone's departure.
