The Metro: The Ann Arbor Art Fair sketches out a big weekend

The Ann Arbor Art Fair returns July 16–18, drawing nearly half a million visitors to three simultaneous nonprofit events showcasing a thousand juried artists from Michigan and across the country. The fairs include a Youth Art Fair and Kids Collectors Club aimed at young creatives. Karen Bauer, who has directed the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair for two decades, and Detroit marbling artist Teesha Lieber (of Spontaneity Works) discussed the festival on WDET's The Metro podcast, noting that the three fairs have worked together since the early 1960s and operate as a well-coordinated machine.
