Planet Ant Black Box: Shelly Smith's ON HOLD opens Nov. 6

HAMTRAMCK. Shelly Smith brings her solo show ON HOLD to Planet Ant Black Box, 2357 Caniff St., for performances Nov. 6 through 8 and Nov. 13 through 14. The hour mixes stand up, original songs, satire and sketch comedy, after two runs at the Dreamland theater in Ypsilanti.

Dylan Charles, Taylor Greenshields and Henry Lemle wrote the music with Smith, who also created the sold out Ann Arbor run of 50 First Jokes and hosts the podcast Reads and Weeds.
