8 new places: where Metro Detroit families are headed this November

SOUTHFIELD. Catalpa Oaks reopened with an accessible playground and fitness court. Little Nest Coffee Roasters, in Grosse Pointe Woods, added a toddler play area, and Rotary Park in Trenton offers a waterfront playground. The Henry Ford opens Artemis Adventure with LEGO Bricks, running through January 2027.

The list also includes The Grove Indoor Play & Cafe in Ann Arbor, Mushroom Park in Ann Arbor, built from a historic fallen oak, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, and Winter Wonders at Hudson's Detroit, a free holiday photo experience opening Nov. 12.
