Maybe Happy Ending: Tony winning robot musical, Fisher Theatre through Nov. 1

DETROIT. Maybe Happy Ending, the six time Tony Award winning musical about two retired household robots falling in love in a future South Korea, runs at the Fisher Theatre through Nov. 1. Four actors carry the 100 minute show, built on staging, lighting and projection rather than a large cast.
The production has Michigan ties. Director Michael Arden and scenic designer Dane Laffrey both studied at Interlochen Arts Academy. Music director Josh Tatsuo Cullen and music supervisor Deborah Abramson grew up near Detroit, and original cast members Darren Criss and Helen Shen are both University of Michigan graduates.
