SOUTHFIELD. Southfield is hosting several trunk-or-treat events in the coming weeks, drive through Halloween gatherings where families collect candy from decorated car trunks. Organizers are billing them as a structured, kid friendly alternative to traditional door to door trick-or-treating.
Families are encouraged to bring a bucket or pillowcase.
