Trick-or-Treat in The Village: Grosse Pointe, Oct. 30

GROSSE POINTE. Trick-or-Treat in The Village runs Friday, Oct. 30, from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m., a day earlier than Halloween this year. Organizers moved it to line up with the half day kids get at school that Friday.

Local business owners stock up on candy, typically more than 1,000 pieces each, for the crowd of costumed kids. Kercheval Avenue closes for the event.
