Trenton: pumpkins, a wildlife refuge and murals this fall

TRENTON. Pumpkin Lane, on Boxford Street and Strohm Avenue, strings hundreds of hanging pumpkins and lights them up Friday through Sunday evenings. The Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge, the only international wildlife refuge in North America, has trails for fall color and a free visitor center open Thursday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On the waterfront, Rotary Park has modern and natural play structures with river views, and Elizabeth Park offers walking paths for leaf peeping. Downtown, murals and shops line walkable streets, including Arts & Stuff Studio, a hands on art space.
