Maybe Happy Ending: the Tony-winning musical opens at the Fisher, Oct. 20

DETROIT. Maybe Happy Ending, the musical that swept the 2025 Tony Awards with six wins including Best Musical, plays the Fisher Theatre Oct. 20 through Nov. 1 as part of the Broadway in Detroit season.
Set in late 21st-century Seoul, it follows two out-of-date helper robots who break from their programming and go looking for something real. The Broadway production also took Tony Awards for its book, its score, and Michael Arden's direction, with Darren Criss winning Best Leading Actor as the robot Oliver.
It's a short night out, about an hour and 40 minutes with no intermission. Performances run Tuesday through Sunday, and there's a closed-captioned, audio-described performance on Sunday, Oct. 25. Tickets are at us.atgtickets.com/detroit.
