Greektown: Monroe Street reopens after a $20 million rebuild

DETROIT. Monroe Street in Greektown has reopened after a $20 million rebuild. The project widened the sidewalks, added outdoor dining space, and wired in what the city calls Detroit's first smart street.

Monroe Street is open again, with room now for tables where there wasn't any before.
