Tigers: win over Phillies would clinch 4th straight series

DETROIT. The Tigers host the Philadelphia Phillies at Comerica Park tonight at 6:10 p.m. in Game 2 of a three-game series. A win clinches Detroit's fourth straight series win heading into the All-Star break.
Friday's opener went to the Tigers, 10-2, behind six innings from Jack Flaherty and three home runs. Casey Mize takes the mound tonight carrying a 1.32 ERA over his last two starts. Philadelphia counters with left-hander Cristopher Sanchez, one of the league's better pitchers this year despite a rough outing his last time out.
