Little Guide Detroit · Carrie Budzinski · Monday, October 12, 2026

METRO DETROIT. Four events anchor the kids' lineup for Oct. 12 through 18, outside the weekend's nine fall festivals. Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores holds a free Stumpkinn storytime Monday, Oct. 13. The same day, Stahls Motors and Music Experience in Chesterfield waives its admission.

Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills runs its $5 Fridays After Five on Friday, Oct. 16. Birmingham's Robot Garage adds a video game night, and Dearborn's Henry Ford Centennial Library hosts a Winnie the Pooh tea party, both later in the week.

Pick a day, not just a weekend.
