Detroit food events: four festivals fill out July

DETROIT. The Sazon Latin Food Festival takes over Batch Brewing Company on Sunday, July 26, at noon, free to attend, with Latin music and food from across the Caribbean, Central America and South America.

The Detroit Summer Market & Festival runs three days at Campus Martius Park, 800 Woodward, also free, with local vendors, artisans and live entertainment. The second annual Detroit Chinatown Block Party runs Saturday, July 25, from noon to 8 p.m. at Cass Avenue and Peterboro Street, free, with food and merchandise vendors, live DJs, games, and community groups working to revitalize the Pan-Asian business district.

The Brush Park Art & Food Festival closes out the month Sunday, July 26, at 10 a.m. at 3100 Brush Street, with handmade crafts, fashion, art, home decor and food vendors.
