Lochaven Haunted House: a free yard haunt in Waterford
WATERFORD. Lochaven Haunted House runs along Lochaven Road in Waterford Township, a walk through haunt built in a residential yard. There's no ticket price; organizers ask for donations instead.
Hours run late: 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Organizers say it works for all ages, but it gets spookier after dark, so younger kids may do better earlier in the night.
No box office, no tickets. Just a yard, a line, and whatever's waiting at the end of it.
