Dia de Muertos in Macomb County: free events run through October

MACOMB COUNTY. A Dia de Muertos celebration started Oct. 10 and runs for almost three weeks, with free events and exhibits across the county. The lineup includes complimentary visits to the Detroit Institute of Arts, screenings of Mexican films and traditional dance performances at multiple venues.

The celebration is still running this week. Events are free and spread across several locations, so check each venue for its own schedule.
