Arbor Annie's Halloween guide: a full day lined up for Oct. 31

ANN ARBOR. Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year, and Arbor Annie's guide lines up a full day across Washtenaw County. Hide and Seek runs trick or treating from 9 a.m. to noon in Ann Arbor. The Ann Arbor Hands On Museum takes $1 off admission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter runs Thrills at the Mills from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
The day starts with Run Scream Run at Wiard's Orchard in Ypsilanti, 8:15 to 10:45 a.m., and ends with a costume party at Michigan volleyball's 7 p.m. match at Crisler Center. Ypsilanti District Library holds a Halloween storytime at 11 a.m., and Hill Auditorium runs a Halloween concert from 2 to 4 p.m.
It's too early in October to know the weather for Halloween, the guide says. Check each town's own trick or treat hours before heading out.
