Chris Bathgate: in the WDET studio, with new tracks from four more acts

DETROIT. WDET's "MI Local" put singer songwriter Chris Bathgate in the studio this week. He and musician Cash Harrison also shared a stage Friday, Oct. 10, at the Ghost Light in Hamtramck, where Harrison premiered his new single, "Dog Year."

The same episode introduced Ann Arbor's Kat Steih and her band, The Ferals, ahead of their album "Feral Geometry," due out Nov. 5. The show also gave first air to new tracks from Moon Date, Carley Lusk and Annie Bacon's new electronic project, Ma Reilly, whose debut album "Exile to Neptune" arrives Dec. 3.

"MI Local" airs Tuesday nights, 9 to 10 p.m., on 101.9 WDET.
