Halloween pop-up bars land across Metro Detroit
METRO DETROIT. Bars across four counties are swapping their regular menus for Halloween pop-ups this month. The Oakland in Ferndale runs The Haunting through Nov. 2, pouring drinks like the Widow's Whisper and the Poison Apple. Side Hustle Lounge in Detroit plays horror films on Tuesdays through Oct. 31 alongside a themed cocktail menu, and Host Utica is serving $5 Jell-O shots and a $16 cocktail called the Six Feet Under from Oct. 20 through 31.
Hush Haunted Attractions in Westland built three secret bars behind its haunted house, open through Nov. 7 with a $10 Creep Pass required for the 21-and-up crowd. Most of the pop-ups run through the end of October or into early November.
