Ann Arbor Folk Festival: 50 years in, tickets on sale now
ANN ARBOR. The Ann Arbor Folk Festival turns 50 this year, and tickets are already on sale. The lineup announced so far: Mavis Staples, Richard Thompson and Band, The War and Treaty, Trampled by Turtles, Colin Hay, Tommy Emmanuel CGP and Vienna Teng.
WDET's "Rob Reinhart's Essential Music" previewed the festival's artists over the weekend, alongside new tracks from Beck, Beabadoobee and Michigander and upcoming albums from Sylvan Esso and Joy Oladokun. The show airs Saturdays, 2 to 4 p.m., on 101.9 WDET.
