Halloween season: five ways to spend it around Detroit
METRO DETROIT. Zoo Boo returns to the Detroit Zoo on weekends from Oct. 3 through Oct. 25, 3 to 8:30 p.m., with full zoo access included. Blake's Big Apple runs a haunted hayride, a three-story haunted barn, a zombie paintball safari and Spookyland. LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan hosts Brick or Treat: Monster Party daily through Oct. 31, tickets starting around $22.
Candlelight Concerts plays a Halloween classics program Oct. 23, 24 and 29. The Detroit Club serves a three-course dinner blindfolded, called Dining in the Dark. Pick a night and go.
