Come From Away: Avon Players run it through Sept. 26
ROCHESTER HILLS. Avon Players opened its 80th season with Come From Away, the musical about how Gander, Newfoundland took in 7,000 stranded airline passengers after Sept. 11, 2001. The show runs through Sept. 26, with performances Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Twelve actors play more than 70 characters, including Catherine Flores as Hannah and Caitlin O'Brien as Captain Beverly Bass. It runs two hours with a 15 minute intermission and carries a PG-13 rating for language and references to real violence.
