Meadow Brook Theatre: 60th season opens Oct. 7

ROCHESTER. Meadow Brook Theatre marks its 60th season this fall with seven shows running October through next June. The season opens with "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance," Oct. 7 to Nov. 1, followed by the 44th annual "A Christmas Carol," Nov. 20 to Dec. 24. "Curtains" runs January into February, a co-production with Oakland University's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
Michigan premieres of "Polishing Shakespeare" and "Rolling Thunder: A Rock Journey" fill February through May. The season closes with "You Can't Take It With You," June 2 to June 27.
