Candlelight concerts: cocktails and string quartets, three Detroit dates

DETROIT. Candlelight and On the Rocks are pairing live string quartet shows with cocktail tastings at three venues this summer and fall. The Detroit Masonic Temple hosts a Bach-to-Beatles set July 12 and a Coldplay-and-Imagine-Dragons set August 13. On September 2, the series moves to the War Memorial, a 1910 Italian Renaissance estate on the water, for a Queen and Beatles tribute.

On the Rocks cocktails are available to sample and buy at each show, on top of the candlelit atmosphere the series is known for.
