Recovery and Resilience Festival: free, sober celebration in Wyandotte, Sept. 20

WYANDOTTE. The Recovery and Resilience Festival runs Sept. 20, noon to 10 p.m., with free live music, art, and creative writing workshops in a substance free space. Christopher Tait of Passenger Recovery and Michael Balcom of Be Well My Friends founded it, both drawing on their own recovery from addiction.
Tait spent 25 years in Electric Six before getting sober. The festival partners with the Downriver Council for the Arts and the Odd Fellow Concert Lounge.
