Metro Detroit's September calendar: 11 picks, from Erykah Badu to Joshua Bell

METRO DETROIT. Hour Detroit has picked 11 events for September, headlined by neo-soul singer Erykah Badu at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights Sept. 11, tickets from $27. Brooks & Dunn plays Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston Sept. 24, from $53, and violinist Joshua Bell opens the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's season at Orchestra Hall Sept. 26, from $69.

The list also includes Greenfield Village's Old Car Festival in Dearborn Sept. 12 and 13, included with admission, and the start of Detroit Month of Design, a 16-year-old festival with more than 100 events across the city.
