Run Wild: Detroit Zoo race turns 30 on Sept. 13

ROYAL OAK. Run Wild with the Detroit Zoo holds its 30th edition Saturday, Sept. 13. Runners and walkers take a course through the zoo grounds. Proceeds go to the animals and the zoo's conservation work.

The event has drawn thousands a year for three decades. The course is the zoo itself.
