Detroit coffee shops: the new list adds Saturn, drops Cafe Prince
DETROIT. Eater Detroit has updated its list of the city's coffee shops, adding Saturn in New Center and Washed Up Coffee on Kercheval while dropping longtime picks Cafe Prince and Madcap. Yellow Light Coffee and Donuts holds its spot too, with its drive-thru on East Jefferson and a newer location inside Michigan Central Station.
Red Hook Detroit's West Village location stays on the list as well. Beyond the coffee itself, the guide leans on food: cake doughnuts, fried chicken biscuits, homemade pastries, and drinks that range from frozen coffee to espresso tonics.
