Lake St. Clair Metropark: $15 million in upgrades on the way

HARRISON TOWNSHIP. Lake St. Clair Metropark is getting about $15 million in renovations, funded by $5 million from the state plus DNR grants and the Huron Clinton Metroparks budget. The closed north marina reopens for the 2027 season, alongside a new bathhouse, an electrical grid overhaul, and ADA upgrades.

Parking lot work finishes this fall. Trail and boardwalk projects start construction in 2027.
