Jack White’s Pine Knob Show is Sold Out — But You Can Stream It

Jack White plays Pine Knob Music Theatre tomorrow, July 25, in support of his new album Frozen Charlotte — the show is sold out, but fans can stream it online through Nugs (a $5/month service currently offering three months free). Two strong local acts open: Detroit punk legend Easy Action (fronted by John Brannon of Negative Approach and Laughing Hyenas) and Dearborn noise-rock band Prostitute, whose debut got praise from major outlets. Doors open at 7 p.m. with openers starting around 7:50 p.m.

Third Man Records is running an exclusive pre-show stage in the UWM West Entrance Parking Lot starting at 2:30 p.m., featuring performances by TY and Dori Detroit, a rolling record store, and food deals ($6 beers, $2 hot dogs). White's famous no-phones policy will be in effect — attendees lock their phones in pouches at the gate and can only use them in a designated area.
