Detroit Public Schools Community District's Class of 2026 has collectively earned nearly $279 million in scholarship offers, a jump of $41.2 million from the previous year. The achievement reflects the district's focus on academic rigor and hands-on college counseling, with standout students like Cass Technical valedictorian Onanna Jacy earning a full ride to Harvard and Southeastern High graduate Justin Bakeman securing a tuition-free admission to Ferris State.
