Penei Sewell: Panda Express hosts a Hot OC Takes challenge in Livonia

LIVONIA. Lions offensive tackle Penei Sewell meets fans at the Panda Express on Middlebelt Road Friday, July 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., as the chain brings back its Hot Orange Chicken. The dish carries six times the crushed chilies of the original recipe, and Sewell fields rapid fire questions from fans while they try it, part of a "Hot OC Takes" challenge.

Fans in line get a pre-signed autograph while supplies last, a photo with Sewell and Panda Express mascot Pei Pei, and a spin on a prize wheel for branded giveaways. Anyone who buys a two-item Panda Plate with Hot Orange Chicken walks away with a $15 card good for a future visit.
