Judy Collins: 87, and calling this tour her last

DETROIT. Folk singer Judy Collins turned 87 this spring and says the tour she's now on, running through mid-2027, will be her last. WDET's Acoustic Cafe marked the news with a 2011 studio session, in which Collins talks about convincing Leonard Cohen to start recording and about working with Stephen Stills for the first time, in 2010.
The episode, hosted by Rob Reinhart, also carries archived performances from Jason Isbell, Jade Bird, and Penny & Sparrow. Acoustic Cafe airs Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m. on 101.9 WDET and stays up on demand at wdet.org for two weeks.
